'Xbox One' is the Next Microsoft Console

In a scheduled Xbox presentation, Microsoft revealed its plans for the next console generation with its new console, named Xbox One. The new console is being branded as an ‘All-in-one’ entertainment box that will allow perfect integration of TV, web browsing, social connectivity and, of course, gaming. The Xbox One will feature a newly designed controller and Kinect 2.0 device which can be seen below.

The console will feature a custom built CPU designed by AMD, an eight-core x86 processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB of Hard Drive space, USB 3.0 and a Blu-ray drive.

There are still some foggy details surrounding the new console, such as its apparent need to connect to the internet at regular intervals and the need to pay a fee for used games. Also, no price was given, which is not surprising at this stage, and the release date is currently set as holiday 2013.
