[VGA's] Highlights from the recent 2011 Video Game Awards

The Spike Video Game Awards has recently concluded and the main highlights of the show, as well as the winners, can be seen below.

- A trailer for the upcoming PS3 exclusive
‘The Last of Us’ was revealed. The game is being developed by Naughty Dog.

- A new trailer for
Mass Effect 3 was revealed.

- A new game is being developed by BioWare in the Command & Conquer series, titled
‘Command & Conquer: Generals 2.’

Rainbow 6 Patriots was unveiled, a trailer was shown, but no gameplay footage was included.

- A new game in the Alan Wake series was revealed, titled ‘
Alan Wake: American Nightmare’, and it will be available for Xbox Live.

- The Legend of Zelda is inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame, with Shigeru Miyamoto accepting the award.

- Tony Hawk unveils the
‘Amazing Spider-Man’ video game.

- A new trailer is shown for
‘Transformers: Fall of Cybertron’, with a focus on cutscenes as opposed to gameplay.

- Epic Games revealed their latest project entitled
‘Fortnite’.

- New Footage was shown for
‘Bioshock Infinite,’ no gameplay was shown.

- The new trailer for ‘
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’ was shown.
