No Used Game Restrictions For PlayStation 4. Retail Set At $399US

During the later portion of Sony’s E3 Press Conference, President and CEO of SCEA, Jack Tretton, revealed that the PlayStation 4 won’t have any restrictions on used games. There will be no need for an always-online connection and it won’t require you to connect to the internet every 24 hours.

The PlayStation 4 will release this Holiday season with a retail price of $399US, $100US cheaper than the Xbox One.

PSN will still remain free, however the PlayStation Plus Membership will be required to play online multiplayer games. Players who own a current subscription to PlayStation Plus will be able to ‘roll over’ their subscription to the PlayStation 4 as well. Microsoft has a tough battle ahead of them.
