Xenoblade Chronicles Sequel Coming To Wii U?

vgi_230113_4

Right at the end of the recent Nintendo Direct broadcast, a new title by Monolith Soft (
Xenoblade Chronicles) was shown. The trailer shows a game that looks very similar to Xenoblade Chronicles, that, and the video ending with a giant “X” suggests that the title will either be a sequel to the very well-received Xenoblade Chronicles or a game set in the same general series.

The Legend of Zelda Wii U Info Revealed. HD Wind Waker Coming This Year

vgi_230113_3

Nintendo is currently working hard on a brand new The Legend of Zelda title for the Wii U, but in the meantime, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker will be getting the HD treatment. Not only that, but the Wii U exclusive will feature some fine tuning as well as Miiverse integration. Oh, and it can be played entirely on the GamePad as well.

Back to the new game though,
The Legend of Zelda producer, Eiji Aonuma, revealed that the team is working on ‘rethinking the conventions of past Zelda games’ and ‘Retuning to basics.’ Needing to complete dungeons in a certain order and Zelda adventures being entirely Single-Player are being put to the side as they try to focus on a new, fresh take on the series.

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD will release this year and more news regarding the next original Zelda title is set to come later this year.

The titles that will be available during the Virtual Console Trial Campaign includes

Telltale's The Walking Dead Coming To Consoles In Australia

vgi_220113_1

One of the best games of 2012 is coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Australia. Telltale’s The Walking Dead Game was released episodically last year, but Telltale didn’t send the game to be classified as they believed it would be refused because of a lack of an adult rating system. The game was never classified, however it was still available for iOS devices and through Steam thanks to a classification loophole.

Telltale has now confirmed that the game will release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, funnily enough, with an MA15+ rating and not an R18+ rating like they presumed. A release date will be announced soon.

Australia Get It's First R18+ Video Game and Believe It Or Not, It's For Nintendo's Latest Console

vgi_110113_2

If you told me just two years ago that a Nintendo console would house the first ever R18+ game In Australia I would have probably punched you in the nose for telling me absurd things. Low and behold,
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge has been the first game to be officially branded with an R18+ rating in Australia.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is an enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden 3 which was released last year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Funnily enough, those versions were given an MA15+ rating proving just how ridiculous the rating system was (and still is to some degree).
