Square-Enix Shows Us Some More of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn


Square-Enix has released some more footage of its upcoming overhaul to
Final Fantasy XIV, titled ‘A Realm Reborn.’

Final Fantasy XIV received a hefty amount of negative reception from players around the world, the developers decided to work extensively on the game to improve its overall quality, essentially providing those long-standing fans with a title that was worthy of the Final Fantasy name. The relaunch of the game, titled ‘Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn,’ will release in mid 2013.

Gotta admit; That music is
reeeally nice.

Hyrule Historia Gets a New Cover and a Trailer


Hyrule Historia
was first released in Japan on December 11, last year, and featured a lot of information regarding the complete history of The Legend of Zelda series, including a comprehensive timeline. We were initially unsure the book would ever be translated into English.

Awhile back, it was revealed that
Dark Horse Comics would be taking care of the title and releasing it around the world in English. In celebration of the English release of Hyrule Historia, a new cover for the book has been revealed and can be seen below. Along with the reveal of the new cover, a trailer (yes a trailer for a book) was also released. 

Hyrule Historia will release on January 29, next year.

Nintendo of Australia Begins TV Marketing for the Wii U


Nintendo of Australia
has begun their TV Promotional Campaign for the Wii U, out November 30. The ad campaign, which features a total of nine commercials do pretty well at showing the unique features of the console and the variety of software available, even if they feature a heavy does of ‘over-acting.’

The Wii U will release on November 30 in Australia.

Rockstar has released a second trailer for their upcoming game,
Grand Theft Auto V. The trailer reveals a bit of story information and gives viewers a feel for how the new game will play.

Grand Theft Auto V is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the first half of next year.

Mass Effect 3: Special Edition Gets A New Trailer


Mass Effect 3: Special Edition is hitting Australian shelves on November 30, alongside the release of Nintendo’s Wii U. Developed by Australian studio Straight Right, the game is a port of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version, with some new added features, exclusive to the Wii U. Below is a trailer for the launch title which shows some of the Wii U-only aspects for one of the years best Action-RPG games.

Everything You Need To Know About The Elder Scrolls Online


Over at the
official site for The Elder Scrolls Online, the team has released the first in a series of video updates for the upcoming MMORPG. The almost ten-minute video covers most of the basic questions you may have about the game, as well as showing some of the first gameplay footage.

The Elder Scrolls Online is set to release sometime in 2013 for PC and Mac.

New, Edgy Trailer for Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge


Ninja Gaiden 3
is hitting the Wii U later this month and a new trailer has been released for the revamped title. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is exclusive to the Wii U and is quite simply an updated version of Ninja Gaiden 3, which was released early on in the year.

The game will release alongside the Wii U in North America on November 18 and Japan on December 8, but currently has no release date in Australia.

New Skyrim DLC 'Dragonborn' Announced


has recently announced new DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The trailer for the upcoming DLC, which can be seen below, will introduce a new villain who was in fact the first ‘Dragonborn,’ with the trailer’s narrator revealing ‘You didn’t think you were the only one… He was the first.’

The new DLC titled ‘Dragonborn’ will release this December, initially exclusive to Xbox 360.

The Mass Effect Trilogy is Releasing Soon. Here's a Trailer.


Mass Effect series is one of the most meticulously woven sci-fi stories in recent history, and a compilation of all three games is being released for PC and Xbox on November 15 (November 6 for North America), and for PlayStation 3 on December 6 (December 4 for North America).

BioWare has recently released a trailer for the trilogy collection that really sums up the experience quite well. This is a perfect chance to experience the entire story if you haven’t yet, and if you haven’t, you best!

Nintendo Of Australia Takes The Wii U On The Road


Starting November 5th, and running until December 9th, Nintendo of Australia will be showcasing the Wii U in select locations around the country. ‘Wii U Experience Stores’ will allow players the chance to experience Nintendo’s latest console before it releases, allowing them to play many new games such as
New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land. The ‘Wii U Experience’ will be available at the locations listed below.
