Sonic Adventure 2 released on the Sega Dreamcast in 2001 and has since become one of the few beloved 3D Sonic games to release. The game, including its 1998 predecessor Sonic Adventure, featured voice acting and music with lyrics. The overall result was an interesting and relatively positive direction for the series, even if at times it felt a tad corny.

Escape From The City
The track to the very first full stage in
Sonic Adventure 2 is easily the games most popular song. The background music to the stages of each of the characters has a distinct feel for each one of them. Many of the background songs to the stages in which Sonic takes the lead, such as this one, have a more rock/punk feel to them.

That’s The Way I Like It
This song is another background theme to one of Sonic’s stages. It maintains the rock feel that accompanies most of Sonic’s stages, but doesn’t feature any lyrics.

Bright Sound
This track is a background theme to one of Rouge The Bat’s stages. Her theme’s tend to feature a semi-lounge/latin feel, with a variety of organic sounding instruments.

Live & Learn
Live & Learn is one of the main themes in Sonic Adventure 2 and plays during the final moments of the game. It is a theme that plays during a moment where the tide turns in favour of the group of protagonists.
