Ghostbusters for the Sega Mega-Drive is a run and gun shooter that offers players a set number of stages in which they can complete in any order. The structure and gameplay is very similar to the Mega Man series. The game was released in 1990 and although it was nowhere near the first game released in the series, it was however the first game published by Sega.

Main Theme
Almost everybody is familiar with the very famous Ghostbusters theme, which is also the opening theme to the game. It is slightly different, but of course features that very iconic melody.

Stage Select
The Stage Select theme is slightly different to what you would expect from an action game. It is very much on the light-hearted and fun side, with a almost tropical feel to it.

Deep Hole
Deep Hole is the theme to the final stage in the game and begins with a very slow and mysterious opening. The track kicks in at about the 15-second mark with the songs main melody, before it settles back down to the more ominous sound that introduced the track.
